Breaking down barriers to reach new heights
Big Red Climbing will be looking to set up a Foundation to open up the world of mountaineering and climbing to those who ordinarily would have the opportunity to do so.
The Big Red Climbing Foundation will provide support through financial grants and expert advice to allow you to follow your dreams. Our natural world is amazing and at Big Red Climbing we believe there should be no barriers to enjoying it no matter who you are.
The Foundation is designed to be a force for good, selecting those dream projects that can really make a difference.
Our Next Steps
Once established the Foundation will be open to applications for a wide range of projects. This can be anything from subsidised training courses, free access to Big Red Climbing’s training facilities, travel costs for aspiring competitive climbers, outdoor instructors or overseas expeditions.
If you are an instructor or guide, a community volunteer or simply a good human wanting to support them we want to hear from you too. Only together, working for the benefits of others can the Foundation truly make a difference.
